Real Life Bugs & Insects – Discover their amazing secret lives

Disclaimer: This schedule is subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep it up to date as it is subject to stock availability. The list is may not be complete as many series are subject to extension.

UPDATES

  • Issues 19 and 11 have been swapped due to supply problems, the Cicada that is suppose to come with issue 11, comes with part 19 and the Lantern Bug that was supposed to be with issue 19 now comes with issue 11.  Customers may be more confused as the magazine cover is different to what is pictured on the back of issue 10.

  • All copies of Issue 10 of Real Life Bugs have the Prehistoric Rove Beetle (on the cover), however all copies of issue 10 have a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle with the issue.  This is correct and you should keep the issue you have received.  This is also advertised on the inside of the front cover.

  • A king size storage box would come free with issue 6, which will hold 10 of the bigger sized bugs.

Real Life Bugs and Insects will, for the very first time, allow customers to examine the world’s most spaectacular insects, arachnids and other arthropods up close and in extraordinary detail.

The unique preservation system allows customers to see specimens from every possible angle.  This incredible collection will allow customers to discover all their secrets, where they live, their constant fight for survival and just how dangerous they really are.  Every specimen in the collection is perfectly preserved by a system that is both prehistoric and modern.  It is the first collection that has used plastic resin to preserve these species for all time- just like natural resin has preserved bugs for millions of years.

All the species featured have been grown on farms specifically for this service.  None of the species are threatened or endangered
